Who we are

Solid ADU was started from a simple idea: finding the right ADU contractor should not be a gamble. Most homeowners call around, collect a few quotes they cannot really compare, and hope the builder they pick is as good as the sales pitch. Between the plans, the LADBS permit process, the bids and the inspections, it is easy to lose months before anything is built. We fix that with one free feasibility check, a match with vetted, CSLB-licensed contractors, and guidance from first idea to final inspection. Solid ADU is not a contractor and does not perform construction. All building work is carried out by independent contractors from our network, each licensed by the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB). We verify licenses and insurance before we match, and you can check any license yourself at cslb.ca.gov. Your build comes with a workmanship warranty from your licensed contractor.
